Millennium Place has laid out on the ground all time zones of the world. This is best seen at night when the zones are illuminated. Above is a flying walkway cantilevering out over the space. On the right is the Transport Museum celebrating Coventry's long history as a manufacturer of motor vehicles.  This was continued during the war. Its factories turned out other munitions and aircraft. The looping aluminum ribbon seen on the left represents an aircraft wing as a reminder of Coventry's association with the aircraft industry and with Frank Whittle the inventor of the jet engine

And the same place at night. The time zone boundaries swept past like a wave which is evident from this photograph.
