The City of London

Putting the world to right - between the Millennium Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral

Kindertransport - a bronze on the forecourt of Liverpool Street Station (London) depicting the Jewish children saved from the Nazis in the months leading up to the declaration of the Second World War in 1939

Just outside the station in Liverpool Street itself two quite friendly City of London Policemen. The bronze statue can just be seen behind the cop walking down the steps.

Some less friendly cops outside another entrance to Liverpool Street Station (Actually two cops not three - one is a ghost due to overlapping images that went to make up the panorama). Transport Police this time on there way to nab me and insist I delete the picture, which I did, one of a few taken pointing the camera downward.   Actually their attitude was entirely understandable because of a serious incident which I later leaned had just taken place and they were naturally pretty jumpy.  You will have to excuse the quality of the associated panorama as I couldn't complete the shoot.

A view of the Lloyds building - the stainless steel structure on the left - and the Gherkin and a construction, or de-construction site which must be finished by now, some years after making this
